What to expect from your day
🛠️ Workshop Schedule: Come for the drills, stay for the thrills!
10:00 AM – Meet, Greet & Toolbox Talk
Shake hands, share stories, pretend you know where your level is. Safety chat so we all leave with the same number of fingers.
11:00 AM – Walls, Rawl Plugs & Drills
Time to play 'Is this wall solid or will it crumble in shame?' Plus, thrilling drama starring plugs, screws, and that one stubborn brick.
12:00 PM – Light Lunch
Because running on an empty stomach is only cool if you're a phone battery.
1:00 PM – Making Cuts
Precision slicing—not just for sandwiches anymore. Expect sparks and possibly a debate on which blade is the sharpest.
2:00 PM – Saving Time & Money
Where we channel our inner life-hacker and share tips to work smarter—not harder (unless you enjoy grouting at midnight).
3:00 PM – Tiles & Grout
Sticky fingers, slippery tiles, and the eternal question: “Did I put that one in straight?” Spoiler: No.
4:00 PM – Pictures & Pals
Snap a few photos, admire your handiwork, and celebrate not putting that picture frame two inches off-centre.
About Us
Welcome to This That and DIY — a women-led DIY workshop built to empower, educate, and inspire.
We created This That and DIY with one goal in mind: to give women the confidence and skills to tackle home improvement projects on their own terms. Too often, DIY spaces feel intimidating or exclusive — we’re here to change that.
Our workshops are designed to be practical, supportive, and beginner-friendly, focusing on everyday skills like using tools safely, assembling furniture, basic carpentry, and home décor projects. Whether you're hanging a shelf for the first time or picking up a drill after years, you're in the right place.
We believe that DIY is for everyone, and that with the right tools, training, and encouragement, every woman can take ownership of her space — and enjoy doing it.
At This That and DIY, we don’t just teach skills — we build confidence, one project at a time.
