DIY Confidence - Intermediate Workshop

Ready to build on your DIY skills? This hands-on workshop is perfect for women who have mastered the basics and are ready to take on more ambitious home improvement projects with confidence.

Working in a small group, you'll learn about different types of timber and sheet materials—including solid wood, plywood and MDF—when to use each, and how to choose the right material for your project. You'll also learn the difference between timber sold in lengths and sheet materials, helping you shop with confidence and avoid costly mistakes.

You'll gain hands-on experience using a drill and impact driver, measuring, marking and cutting materials accurately, selecting the right fixings, and installing skirting boards and wall panelling.

Together we'll complete a practical group project, giving you the opportunity to put your new skills into practice in a supportive, relaxed environment.
